From bad to worse

After the problems with the manifold I said about in the last thread. I spent the rest of the weekend fitting my 3” downpipe and decat, or I should say trying to fit. It seems to foul on the prop shaft . Has anyone had this problem? I’m thinking that I should never buy cheep stuff off eBay again, lol .

Was it a standard 1.8T unit? These do not have the propshaft to foul on. Perhaps it is just the wrong part.

You do get what you pay for - but thats not what you want to hear.

Which part was fouling the downpipe or the decat area?

You most probably have the part for the 2wd FWD 1.8t, get your money back or a replacement, as fabricating the existing part will be more trouble than its worth.
