fly car

I havn't done it myself but was a passenger when a guy I know did it on a Hump Back Bridge, ended up knocking my head off the roof

It's very strange especially when you can feel the car drifting off line & there's nothing you can do about it.

Not recommended on public roads.
I knew a lad who lost his life after hitting a humpback bridge (on the Hemsby Road just outside of Marthem, Norfolk) at high speed & the car ended up in the first floor of a cottage killing him & two friends. I believe the bridge, a redundant railway bridge was removed in 2006/7.

I wasn't trying to go airborne either. I just totally misjudged the profile of a hump backed bridge and hit it too far fast. If I'd have hammered the brakes on the car would have chinned the road surface upon hitting the bridge.

I jumped a raise railroad crossing years ago in a mk4 escort. Went about 8 feet in the air and was airborn for 20 odd feet or so. It wasn't ment but in my younger days I had quite a heavy foot.:embarrest:
Felt really wierd especially when everything in the car was floating around in the air.

Thought about giving it a go once! but then I remembered all those episodes of The Dukes of Hazzard, and the General Lee's landings after 4 wheel flights and decided against it,
