I have the level 1 OBDII add-on from these people on my '98 Tahoe, it has definitely helped. So this:

makes me wonder. I imagine it's basically holding the electrical system up to nominal from the get-go, and apparently doing something to cohere all ground as well. Seems to make sense to me, as a previous owner put a nice voltmeter on my dash, and I know it varies a lot, from 11 before turnon through 13.3 for a while to 14.5 at the most, often ranging between 14.1 and 14.5. I could easily imagine that, if the thing could hold the whole system at 14.5 at all times, it should all be more consistent, coherent, et cetera.
Anyway, I'm curious what others might have experienced with these, or think about them.
