Hey I just got this prelude it runs great feels good has lots of miles on it about 170k so i was wondering If i wanted to tune this car should i tune the engine I have now or should I get a different engine and open to suggestions on that as well I am new to this and need advice have always loved import cars and decided to get one and fix it but really need help or a sense of direction

If the one you got is still running strong, just keep it, any bits you use on it can always be reused on another engine should this pack up. Or if you have money and space tune the new one, this way you have a running spare in case the tuning goes south.

Is it a H22A? If so is it a Jap Import?
