06 civic 1.8 sport

Hi everyone.

I'm a complete newbie to modding and tuning etc, and i was just wondering what i can do to my 06 civic 1.8 sport. Everything on the car is as standard, Then only thing i have a remote knowledge of is Lowering. Would it be worth my time to lower this car?

Ideally i'd like to make it look nicer and i'd like to add some power.

Any tip and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Lowering if done properly will make it better at cornering but to do it properly you need to get the geometry setup.

A drop of 35mm should give better handling without messing up the geometry too much

How much would it set me back to lower the car?

maybe 100 for lowering springs 2-300 for springs and shocks going up to over £1k for fully adjustable coilovers

pockets will be needed for power increse on the hondas
if the intakes anything like the type r's then youll be hard pushed to beat it other than a higher flowing panel filter. or spending out on something like AEM V2 but even then your not going to be getting super gains.
full exhaust including sports cat and manifold will help get the gasses out and a remap.
after this your going to need to look at the internals for real gains
