passengers rear seat safety seatbelt

What are we all like around the safety aspects when having passengers in the car ? Do you check that they are wearing their seatbelts ?, if not how do you make them wear their seatbelts or do you not bothere if then are not belted up ? Do you treat rear seated passengers differently?
