gear selector

Hi Guys, I'm needing to replace said part, as the side-to-side movement on my gear stick has totally ceased. Has anyone doe this before? I've got a few reservations about any hidden retaining clips around the bulkhead, and the rubber seal which seems to held in by pins(??) but I can't see how...
