Thanks for the replys guys! The car has been fully cleaned up (debadged, derubstripped, proper rear arches and other subtle mods) full respray, interior cleaned and tidyed and I'm slowly getting the running gear sorted as and when funds allow.

put a 1.9 turbo lump in there, I've done it on my 205 d turbo work car when the head cracked. I now have a Citroen xantia td lump in it with a bit more boost and a bit more fuel. It's about as quick as a gti now lol!! 100+ bhp LOADS of torque and 40+ mpg!
