So true, I just would not do any of the internal work until I had got way past a T5 or T7 suite stage III tune. This tune on a TD04 will get near to 300hp on a Saab 9000. My 9000 griffin is said to be at near 250 by T5 suite documentation. It is a buzz to drive even at this compared with stock. /R

On this and many other issues they are not interested. There are places to go to get your ecu remapped. Have a look at what the guys say on the Ecuproject I have done my own but I am using T5 suite, no good for your car which uses T7 suite. But if you go reading aboout this on the Ecuproject...

I reckon the best thing you could do is get your ecu tuned to stage 1. The stock intercooler will be just fine. /R

Looks a bit complicated at the start, like anything that is new. But if you are a bit of car nut, and have a Saab with a Trionic ecu it is well worth the effort to read and understand. It is nearly, but not quite plug and play. Robin

Do you guys know about the Ecuproject and T5 suite tuning programme. It is a very good alternative to buying a tune. You can learn how to do your own ECU tunes. T5 suite is free, the USB/BDM tool to hook up to the ECU is about 42 euro.

Thank you - I wish it was that simple. Are you familiar, with Saabs Trionic ignition and how the Direct Ignition cassette, and the Boost Performance Valve operate. I guess I need to shift this thread, but not sure where to. I do not see a lot of activity on the Saab section. But who knows...
