Just wondered if there was anyone local to B32 area with an NG900 that i could look under the bonnet of? Basically my car has had a front end repair & I'm trying to find out if there is anything out of shape etc as it wont run straight (see "Going straight" thread) maybe to take a few pics &...

I'll get a couple up in a bit. It looks a bit tatty tbh, but matches rest of car :-/ the pipework is home made but it cost me nothing & improved performance makes me smile anyway ;-)

I fitted a universal K&N cone filter (off my old Civic) to my 97 NG900 turbo auto. Just took top half off airbox off leaving the lower half with the cold air feed, & fixed the filter over it - works a treat. No check light etc & can now hear the turbo whistle & standard dump valve working too...

On closer inspection, looks like the steering rack may of been replaced... is it possible to fit it out of line? Dunno about saab power racks, would the rack want to centre itself when powered, but if it was to one side or the other then that would run out??? Geometry checks are fine but are...

Guess I'll be trying that Saturday or Monday. Kwik-Fit done the tyres & B.M.T.R. did the 4 wheel laser alignment...

No not worse under braking or acceleration & CV's dont knock on full lock, either way. It did have an annoying squeak/squeal (like a loose fan belt) while driving, that went quiet when stationary, but that seems to have disappeared on it's own?

Yeah, got std. 16"alloys, tried changing front tyres, but made no difference. Thinking of measuring different points on the car to see if both sides match, dunno what else to do, don't know anyone with a bodyshop as I'm convinced the problem lies with a dodgy repair - maybe the subframe has...

I could end up changing the whole front end, not a problem if cash was no object :-( I still think its to do with front end alignment, or lack of it from a cheapo repair... just need to find somewhere that could check it for me without raping my wallet!
