Hi Guys

Just registered and hope to find help in keeping my Vitesse Turbo going in terms of parts etc;
Currant problem in losing power with an intermitent mis-fire at any speed.
Have done a number of checks including renewing: fuel pump -sensor on fly wheel - plugs - HT leads - power unit in place of distributor - fuel filter - injectors cleaned by Lucas.
Nothing shows up on computer fault codes

So you can gather what stress I'm under when out on the open road.
I would certainley appreciate any help/feedback from you guys.

It is nice to meet you. I hope you enjoy the forums as much as we all do and that you get totally addicted to this site.

The intermittent faults can be a real pain. Could it be a bad earth? Put the interior light on and rear window heater (to create drain on battery) and see if the lights dim when the misfire happens.

Does it tend to happen when the car is hot or cold? Looking at the plugs is it running lean or rich? Is the lambda sensor reading correctly?
