If you could take any car round the ring what would you choose?

Also what is the best PRODUCTION car if you wanted to and had the skills to set a new ring record?

My absolute favorite would be the 2015 Corvette Stingray Zo6 Supercharged 650 x 650 as a cost effective/buyable production vehicle. The Dodge Viper ACR/supercharged(should be available for the 2016 model year) would be a close 2nd!

And as the ultimate ride, it would be a very LIMTED production ride - The Radical SR8-RX!!!

In terms of ability, I really do rate the Nissan GTR for ability vs price. For what they are and what they are capable of, comparative to the cost of purchasing one - they really are very good value for money. I think I'm not the only one of this opinion either - as on our recent trip to the Nurburgring a few months back - the place was littered with them. I don't think I've ever seen so many GTR's in one place before!
