Bright copper gaskets and stainless steel headers
Adjustable dampers with new fast road springs

These are a few of my favorite things

Clean shiney engines with rasping exhaust notes
Side stripes and trim strips and new valves & carb floats
Wild cams that fly and some new piston rings

These are a few of my favorite things

Gleaming white paintwork and new wooden dashes
Metalflakes that stay on the roof, headlamp flashes
Silver sprayed hardtops, indicators on wings

These are a few of my favorite things

When the clutch drags
When the oil leaks
When I'm feeling sad

I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so bad

MY OLD FORD

I,m an old ford with a piston ring
2 rear wheels and one front spring
i have no fenders seat or plank
burn lots of juice and am hard to crank
carberetter busted halfway through
my engine misses and only hits on 2
i,m a few years old be more in spring
all shock absorbers tied up with string
i,ve got a rocking and a wobbly gait
takes 2 boards to guide me straight
i run in high but quit in low
and the devil himself cant make me go
i,ve got lots of speed if you turn me loose
i burn either gas or tobacco juice
my tyres are off been running on rims
but i,m a good ford for the shape i,m in
