Lollipop persons!

Why do lollipop men and women insist on stopping the traffic 5 times for 5 kids rather than wait till they get a group of 5 who can all cross together.

Also they seem to stand in the middle of the road talking to the "mothers and fathers" holding up the traffic.

They are either on a power trip or have disengaged their brains.

Does anyone else get similar treatment in their area?

you know what annoys me - when they are at pedestrian crossing!!!!!!!! so they stand there press the button then when the green man comes on they go and stand in the middle of the road .............. whats all that about! isnt that the whole point of a pedestrian crossing, arent lollipop people supposed to be outside schools where is not safe to cross not stood next to traffic lights.
