Getting rid of bugs

What is the easiest way to shift bugs, there seem to be loads about at the moment and the wipers are just not coping with them.

Any tips? If I polish the windscreen will that stop them from sticking?

stupid but are you using screenwash ? if not add some if so add some more.

watch out for polish if you do try it, normal polish will be alright but if theres wax in it it will smear

Generic automotive glass cleaner works very well.

Cleaning the blades makes a huge difference. I glad it's not just me who does this.

I'm not totally sure about using vinegar, which is PH +ve. There's a tiny risk of catalysing acid corrosion.

I use vinegar on the blades but thats it.

just use normal glass cleaner on the blades it smells alot better than vinegar

will vinegar cause a problem with the bodywork paint?

"Rain-X" applied to the windscreen makes bugs less sticky
