My wife says "It's sounds like he's using a circular saw." I've explained about Dog boxes, dog gears and the benefits of race tuned engines and I think she'd gone back to sleep now!

It's a good example of what can be done with an impressive car in capable hands. You rarely get to see both on "track days".

Sure I have seen this one before, that car has some pace, the driver is pretty good too as there were times he could have taken a car into a corner with some panel beating but backed off and took them on the exit instead.

My god that doesn't half scream when up there! My 1340 Mini had a Jack Knight straight cut box but it never got to those levels as it was a short track set-up.

Well it was made in 2002 so its been doing the rounds for a while. Which is probably why it turned up near the top of the list when I searched for hot laps in youtube. Originally I was looking for V8 supercar footage, but this side tracked me!
