Did you lift the front wheels from the ground and steer left and right full lock each time between 5 and 10 times?

Are there any leaks in the system? Try bleeding it and see how you get on.

A 2.8 injection Capri, back in the 80's it was a nightmare to drive in the wet, sliding all over the road, and it cost me a fortune in repairs. It sounded lovely when it was running well, but it often had damp problems, didn't like running when hot, or starting when cold etc etc etc. :lol:

It does make me scared, do one thing wrong and you get points, but the stress makes me do stupid things. Last time I got followed I forgot to indicate and was pulled over for that and breathalysed!

Lucky to get one track day per year in. Every time I go something serious breaks and I need the rest of the year to fix it. Perhaps I should get myself a reliable mechanic rather than try and do everything myself.

Inattention distractions and tiredness are the no1 killers on the road, but they are harder to legislate against or regulate. They'll be happy when we are all driving fully autonomous cars that look after themselves.
