    Audi TT, ABS Light

Hey mate, glad you got your abs problem fixed, i had a sensor go down on my a3 last week so i know the feeling, at least yours was under warranty! as for the fuel gauge problem, it is almost definately the instrument cluster, these are prone on all tt, a3 and a4's from about 98 onwards...

    S3 AWD problem

Yeah it's almost definatle the haldex controller, i've done a few of these in the past couple of years, more so on earlier model tt's but essentially the same setup, with the same problems. try local scrap yards for a rear axle complete with diff, sometimes they throw in the controller for...

    Mods update!

I have to say i dont really have much to compare it to, but as mine is an auto i guess the power delivery is slightly different than you would get with a manual, it pulls really hard on kick down though, and just runs out of steam at about 6600rpm. As for the CC discount i'm not sure how much...

    Facelift Light Upgrade?

the looms themselves are the same, but in different colours, so its a case of cutting and joining the right ones, however the multiplugs are different shapes (round vs square) so you'll need to either cut and solder them, or source some round or square multiplugs and go down that route. as for...

    Facelift Light Upgrade?

Hey guys, i want to upgrade my lights all round to the facelift 01-02 lights from the standard on my 98 a3 1.8t sport. I am aware that the front require some fabricating of the inner wings and wiring harnesses, this is no problem. What i don't know is if the rear bulbholders will fit and...

    Gearbox/Injector Problems

A thinner viscosity gearbox oil will help with gear selection, as for the juddering, this year and engine are prone for coil packs, which would also cause these symptoms, (the coils break down, resulting in an intermittent weak spark under load, in essence a misfire on one or more cyclinders...

    A3 Lowering???

thanks boys, thats bang on what i wanted to hear :D! I basically want to keep the ride as standard, and look fairly close to factory, but i just love the rs6 style wheels, i think they give a really meaty squat look to the a3. I will stick some photos up when i have got them on!! thanks again...

Heys guys, since you've been such help so far, i thought i'd throw another one at you. As you know i have a 1999 A3 1.8T Sport, as per my other threads i am currently making a few mods, both on the engine and styling/handling. My question is- i am going to replace the stock wheels with RS6...

    From bad to worse

You most probably have the part for the 2wd FWD 1.8t, get your money back or a replacement, as fabricating the existing part will be more trouble than its worth. good luck :D
