The rotor head of injector pump have suffered greatly for this practice.Viscosity of diesel higher than that of kerosene, so lubricating action is required on some parts in the fuel system. Its a bad and selfish practice.

O yes that's exactly what i mean. Diagnostic check is the answer.

If after blasting it, the fault persist. Please run a scan on it. But i suspect dumping of fuel into the cylinders by either your ECM OR INJECTORS, Since you smell fuel after parking. Scanning still remain your best option.

I replace the engine of the above car. Start and let it ideal for 10minutes and then rev it. The ECU got burn. Its run smoothly on ideal. What could be wrong.
