possibly the best reply ever! :) i found the bolt conveniantly placed NOT on the motor but on the transmission under the battery wires!

looked at it with a mirror and its a smooth head so a bit of a mystery will have to get the manual

the trouble is all in the driveshafts if they don't match up then there are problems, so all you would have to do is find the specs of yours and match them up, the engine mounts should be the same. but then again it depends how much money you have, for about £2000 you can ge a good engine...

how do you get the starter off the 95 306 phase 1 (1.4) its a real pain!!! there are two bolts on mine then a third 'pin' (it just has no nut on it) is there something special about the last pin (closest one to the bonnet on the top) help!

hi giannis engine swapping is a bit of a nightmare, i know it sounds all well and good but i'm currently in the middle of swapping a 306 1.4 for a 1.9 205 gti and its a real pain. if you really want swap you COULD swap for the 2.0 16v from the 406 that'll give about 137 maybe, if you want 150...

ok guys less handbags at dawn about who's car is faster, though i admit it is the best part of car ownership and modding. Its time for news of fun and effective mods, anyone know of obscure ways to add power output????

Have you ever driven the accord vtec????!!!! it would destroy MOST cars even the 1.8 a few mods and it will EASLIY do 60 in 1st!!! and progress to 110 in 3rd!!!! Dont get me Wrong but seriouly you think you can compete against that...

i think im going for the 406 2.0 engine, tuboing, port and polish remap tune polish pimp it out. then just for lafs im leaving the outside standard. im racing against some friends in a years time and theres some tuff stuff to compete with so im gonna hope that i can cash in with handling! p.s...
