Xenon Lights

I have a Polo but this question is probably generic to any car.

The lights on the polo are not that brilliant so I am looking to by the Xenon ones they sell in Halfords. Bought some a few years back on another car and they definately improved things.

They now have three different types, one that improves by 30%, one by 50% and one by 90%. Is there any difference after all Xenon gas is xenon gas. Anyone tried them and is the most expensive the best. Not sure what could possibly be different in any of them.

i used to have some halfords ones in the civic and didnt think that much of them.
however i got some osram nightbreakers in the bora as it has terrible light output. difference was night and day.
