Wrong turns.

Ok so on my way back from Birmingham yesterday (a route i've driven quite a few times) I missed a turning and added about 20 odd mile to my journey.:blink:
I was in a world of my own for some reason.
Anyone else done anything like this?

Do it all the time lol. I'm freaking terrible with directions so I normally have the sat nav on for longish journeys even if I know the way. What were you doing in this sheet hole? lol.

I find my self driving to work sometimes & suddenly I think "Where the hell am I going? I was only going to a local shop!". :embarrest:

Quite often I find myself on autopilot and just go right past the junction!

I have been known to turn up over 20-30 miles from my intended destination

Whenever I get my uncle's car, I ignore the shortest route & roam like a vagabond through the farthest possible route & unnecessarily burn gallons of gas....
