Will this pass an MOT?

This is part of my car rebuild thread but, as some people may not be reading it (shame on you!), I decided to ask the same question here.

As a weight reduction measure, I have removed half of the CV bolts and replaced them with short studs. This is standard practice on race and rally cars as the rotational mass reduction is significant (on my car 350gms). There is no virtually no loss of strength as the forces are overwhelmingly predominately shear.

However, on a casual inspection it looks as though half of the bolts are missing.

My local MOT tester sees no problem with it as long as he can see the studs on inspection.

I could just replace studs at MOT time, but if I don't have to I would prefer not to.

Any views from testers on here or has anyone done this successfully?

theoretically, it's not broken, and not structurally weakened. so i can't see a problem with it, but i'm not an MOT tester...
