Why do car makers ruin their cars.

There are so many really nice looking cars out there.

The trouble is that manufactures ruin them with a great big Ariel on the rear wing or a horn on the roof?

Also why also are interiors so drab and boring?
 
BMW's shark fin aerial looks ridiculous. As does the rear section of all current BMWs. It's as if the styling team started at the front and then ran out of money when they got to the rear doors :)
