Where is the resevoir?

I cannot find the clutch resevoir on my mates 1998 93 2.0t. Does anyone know where it is?

Hydraulic clutches don't usually have a resevoir IIRC they run off the brake master cylinder and have a slave cylinder.

So if you were changing the clutch would you still need to bleed the system? If so then how?

you bleed the clutch slave same as you do the brakes

pump pump pump slowly until you see most of the air gone then lock the nipple up few pumps hold down undo the nipple let that lot out job done normaly

some take a bit longer others quicker
