Where do I put the sensor?

I drive a Toyota Supra with a 7mgte engine.

Problem
So my car shuts off when I'm driving because my rpm drop too low.
I was told because my fuel and air ratio was not mixing right.
So I got a boost controller, electronically it is all set up, however, I'm not sure where to place the sensor that connects to the controller. Do I put it before the intake manifold but after the blow-off valve or what?

Looking for anyone that perhaps would know and could perhaps provide some insight.

Are we talking about an air flow sensor or air pressure sensor? Has it been remapped? When was it last serviced? Does it have fast road cams? Does it still do this when it is hot or just from cold?

When the engine starts to warm up, is when i begin to start having problems where i can be sitting at a light, and then my rpm's drop and thus engine stops.

I'm thinking it's a mass flow sensor that I am dealing with.

If its for a wastegate would it not be a pressure sender, to stop the turbo overboosting.
if this is what it is you would want it as close to the throttle body as possible
