Hey Guys!
So you hear all the time about the fast cars. So what is the slowest/least powerful/weakest car you have ever driven? Does it make you crazy? For me I really don't mind slow cars, but I really enjoy fast cars! what about you guys?

Morris Z ute Still don't really know how I survived the way I drove back then.
Renault 850 axle breaker & noisy as hell.

Slowest car was a Morris Minor Traveller but the slowest vehicle was my Mercedes 309D motorhome.

Plenty: (I have included car derived vans, too).....

Citroen 2CV,
MkII Escort 1.1 Estate,
Maestro Diesel Van,
1986 Astramax Diesel Van,
Current model Renault Clio 1.2 (yes, painfully slow)

650cc Seat Marbella, it was so wimpy that a gust of wind would rob you of 10mph instantly! It struggled up hills and other drivers bullied you! Not an experience I'd like to repeat!

The slowest one I've ridden in is my Dad's brand new (last year) 1.4 Corsa. He is (his words) 'preserving the mechanicals' by only doing short journeys and never exceeding 2500rpm. EVER!!

It's already been in with engine check lights and had two lambda probes replaced !!! Under 10,000 miles!!!! Silly man.

I had a 1956 imported volkswagon 36hp if you had a head wind it would go faster in 3rd than in 4th as 4th was overdrive even though i still loved that car

The slowest I owned was probably one of the most fun, Pug 205 n/a diesel, Brilliant fun, once any car is wound up to 60 it's like any other car, slow cars are more noticeable if you have or use your brakes so sometimes the faster car is the slower car if you get me,

When I went self employed I started with a Bedford Rascal van. Fully loaded with tools, parts and ladders it really struggled uphill.
When we first got married I sold my S12 Silvia and used my wifes Austin Metro. Mechanically solid but it rusted around us. Brought my 2 daughters home in it when they were born so good memories even if at a snails pace.

That is crazy! I thought that my Sundance was SLOWWWWWW but apparently not so much. When she was new 85 FWHP and I have done 0-60 in 15 seconds. In the states that is a slow car! Most people average about 20 seconds 0-60 in normal driving! And when the speed limit is 70 most people are doing like 75-85!

Hahaha yeah every journey was an event :)

I concur my one time in one was me and four mates and one of my mates nutter mum driving us to the airport for a holiday. And in all honesty the scary event of getting to the airport was a hilarious start to the holiday and the laughs just continued for seven days straight:lol:
