We have the new beetle, new Mini Fiat 500 and other old models being ressurected and given a makeover.

Which models from the 70's-90's would you like to see relaunched?

Lancia Stratos? RS200? Capri?

I would like to see the peugeot 205 gti's remade in there original design but more uprated brakes, suspension etc.

Peugeot tried to revive the gti but they did'nt even come close as they handled really rubbish compared to the original 205 gti

i would love to see the 3dr mk1 golf gti bought back to life maybe with the 1.8 20vt in it

Bit of a CRX fan myself. I saw a mint red one at the BHP performance show Monday. (Welcome to TorqueCars Broomy1984 good to have you along. I take it you are from Scotland then?)

Always makes me wish I had one when I see a clean one in the greeny/blue colour, can't rememeber the proper name of it.

Ta for the welcome mate. I'm from Northern Ireland, you probably don't see many of us on the site i'd imagine? Found the forum when I was searching for hand polishing techniques on-line.

How long has p0rn been a swear word though to be fair? Might as well censor boobies and the word "gun" as that has far more influence on kids these days than p0rn if the media are to be believed.

Remade cars, Escort RS Turbo and Audi Quattro would be awesome.

Them cars are sick. Fiesta Rs Turbo as well I think.
For some reason I like the Fiesta Rs Turbo Engine better than the Escort. And I know it's only the inlet manifold thats different.

The Bond Bug, but only 'cos I like a laugh. It would also give my wife someone to look down on, and cut up and out-corner, when out in her Smart.

The Rover 3.5 litre P4 saloon (the Queen drove one) - oh no, hang on, Chrysler already did that with the 300 CRD which does look remarkably similar from some angles.

I do also find myself looking at a new model and wonder what on earth they were thinking of ditching the old one. One example that always sticks in my mind was the Mazda 323, of N and P reg vintage. It looked to me quite a sleek little 4-5 seater with very smooth off-beat styling (and 'slitty' headlights!) and IIRC it even had the option of a 2.5 V6. I even had it pencilled-in as my first non-company car after leaving BT. So what did they replace it with before I could get one? Something so nondescript, I can't even find the words for it. They've moved on again since with the Mazda 3, but they've still still not wandered far from the mainstream.

yea, the mazda 323 f from 1998. it had a cool design tho.

I'd like to see the Austin Montego remade in 1.6L trim so that we could all buy one and then we'd really appreciate what we drive now!!!

Audi S2 with 5 cylinder 20v turbo!

If it weren't for the modern nazi party (EU) they'd probably still make cars like this.
