What are fuel stabilizers, what would you say is the best one?

Does everyone benefit from a fuel stabilizer?
 
Fuel stabilizers are useful when storing a car as fuel will deteriorate or evaporate.

When fuel has been sat in a tank for a while it will gum up the internals of your fuel system and engine as fuel deteriorates into a gum and varnish if left over time.

They offer no advantages in a daily driven car or one that is regularly used so I wouldn't recommend using one.
 
Fuel stabilize is a solution that provides a protective layer for the fuel sitting in a gas tank. It prevents fuel from forming sticky resins that can quickly ruin a carburetor. In my experience, STA-BIL 22214 Fuel Stabilizer is the best.
