Separate cylinder heads per cylinder, under a common rocker cover on later units, the engine was fitted to the Rover SD1 2.4 SD Turbo, The Range Rover, various Alfa Romeo (apparently never imported to UK), Jeep 2.5TD Sport, later Ford Granada, and the Rover 800D and 825 D Turbo, and probably more. It is also used in Marine applications by MerCruiser
