VW Authentic Baja Beetle RHD
Reg No SPL 877R,Chassis No JC8204.
This imaculate authentic Baja was built in California in the early 1970s for a South African Banker,he requested a host of extras.
The Baja was shipped to South Africa and used on his estate until the troubles occured and the Banker returned back to Knightsbridge,London 1976/7.
The Baja remained in storage for 15 years with other collectors cars in his heated underground garage,it was run at regular intervals recently stripped and reshelled.
Has been exibited at Stoneleigh,NEC and others.
The car comes with all the original Baja panels finished in Pearl White Paintwork.
Mileage of the car is approx 40,000 to date.
Bullet proof windows are all round,
California Bubble Windows at rear sides,
Full Leather and Draylon interior,fitted carpets to floors and boot,
Baja Chassis bars front and rear,
Original Baja steel wheels 5 spoke,15in rear with 235 tyres,14in front with 195 tyres,
Engine 1660cc big valve twin port performance motor,
Fully balanced and giving approx 130bhp +.

I have owned this Baja for the last 12 years which has been part of my collection,stored in one of my barns with various Historic Modsports race cars,Rothmans 6R4,a Porsche 928 development car,Porsche 930 Le Mans race car,Facel Vega HK500 and various other race Touring Cars which I compete in every weekend at circuits throughout the UK.
