Does anyone know what bhp increase you'd get on a Golf Mk lll VR6 by fitting a full decat stainless exhaust?

10 bhp at a maximum. It's not the extra bhp you need to think about though it's the increase in throttle response you'll get.

Are you doing an induction kit as well? Have you looked at sports catalysts instead of decats, the power gains are so similar and you'll still be emissions legal.
