I would advise that if you have increased power and torque and when it comes time to replace the clutch there are a few options.

1 cushion plate sprung centre with an increased clamping pressure cover.

2 as above with a cushion button plate.

3 sprung non cushion button plate.

4 solid centre button plate no cushion no springs so nothing to come loose BUT when off the gas and slowing down without applying the brakes there will be a rattling sound around the 2000 revs that will disappear immediately power is applied or the clutch pedal depressed.

No 4 is what I had in my 400hp car in the pic and I had no problems with it in traffic BUT it was fixed to a billet flywheel with close to factory weight.
I would expect that there would be some difficulties in traffic if there was a lightweight flywheel in front of the solid centre clutch.

PS then if you have really serious power there are multi plate clutches that I have no first hand experience with so there may be a member that can add or share their knowledge when it comes to them ?
