Hi All

I am going to change my audi a4 standard 16*7 rims with some nice 17*8, in addition to this i am fitting a koni lowering kit that lowers 40mm front a 35mm back.

Do you think that with these modifications the tyres will rub the wheel arches on the front? I think that the back will be ok im just a bit worried about the front.

Please let me have your coments on this matter... I have also got some 8mm front and back spacers that I had wanted to add but i think this may be pushing it!! what do you think??:blink1:

The offset of the wheel determines how far it sticks out. The lower the number the more it will stick out. That's probably the simplest way to put it. Different cars use different offsets.

Get your arches rolled as well to be on the safe side.

ET for beginners tells you how far into or out of the wheel arch the wheel sits, spacer is only really needed when there is large rubbing otherwise a small 5mm shim is all you need!
