hey and welcome. wht sort of gain are you after ?
if your wanting a decent gain and run good boost then your going to have to lower the compression of the engine. there are 2 ways of doing this ;
1) bodge job using a spacer plate. some run this for years without issue
2) using low compression pistons.
if your after big gains you will also need to use forged rods and crank.

Welcome to TC! :bigsmile:
PG, If he was to use a light pressure turbo, could he get away with not altering the compression?

yeah should be able to run on low pressure but really the gains wouldnt be that great. if you were to run low pressure look more to supercharging as it would save you haveing to sort out the plumbing for the exhaust side
