Hi. It is for inside the car, for the timing unit not for the boost controller.
I´ve seen few harnesses online, but they all for japanese cars and I wouldn´t like to cut the genuine wires to get the timer mounted, if possible.

No, it is much smaller and its flat. Have already compared the plug to all existing timer harnesses, negativ.

scrappy and make your own.
get the socket and part of the loom you need and solder them together. congratulations youll have a extension cable that you can cut into without wrecking your main harness

I was thinking of making a wooden frame and getting this covered to match the dash. A bit of fake leather or similar would tidy up the wooden frame.

You could take a feed from the cigar lighter? That depends on it being live all the time or just when the ignition is on. The idea of a turbo timer is to run after the ignition is off. I would have thought that with an electricians block you could do a tidy job.
