Also useful when creating a semi-space framed car, you can extend the rollcage for and aft to create a frame to house and engine and gearbox. I did this when I built my V8 Chevette, I extended the front section of the cage through the bulkhead as I cut the front inner and outer wings away to gain space.

Thanks guys, and yeah you can mount engines and stuff in a space frame, the best example I can think of that is the Bowler Nemesis.
