I know many people know or own a toyota 4age or 4afe.
I have the toyota levin 4af narrow valve carburated motor. I love the economy of the setup with the responsive engine capacity even with the lower hp. I want a car that I can drive everyday without burning holes in my pocket.
A close friend recently fitted a 20V silvertop. He has amazing pull but his fuel economy is out the window, besides how much he spent on upgrading his carburated toyota AND now the strain the motor is putting on his car looks like trouble.
I want someone to tell me if I should keep my motor for economical reasons, with the mods I have in mind (namely bigger cams around 270', bigger valves, gas flowed head, t3 turbo and intercooler). Will it be worth the money and time? I have already balanced and blueprinted the motor and added a larger weber carb and k&n filter. I'm thinking of making it twin carbs to support the turbo...
