to turbo or not to turbo ?

Hi guys (new guy here) I have a 2007 polo classic (u guys might know as sedan) its a 2.0 8v , was thinking of turbo charging or cams , what do you guys think is better (remember i use this car to work everyday)

Turbo'ing a naturally aspired engine will prob cost ££££'s.
