I have a question that I have wondered for quite some time.
We all know Throttle Bodies's add air into EACH cyclinder etc etc...
I see a lot of conversions on many ford engines such as the YB engine, using Jenvey throttle bodies.
My idea is... Why hasn't there been a throttle body conversion on a diesel? They have air into the cyclinders to burn with the fuel, So why not add throttle Bodies espeically to an older mechanically timed diesel. Is there a mechanical imcompatability? Or does this defeat the purpose of diesel? The hint is probably diesels don't have a throttle... But regardless.
Can anybody shed some light onto this please? I know diesels inject fuel differently, but I am wondering if it could be done?
