so what do you think is going to be the big trend over the next couple of years?

seen a few cars now with strange colour wheels !

LED headlights (running lights are growing but there will be a move to LED headlights soonish!)

What about bright interiors as well. Citroen seem to be setting a new trend with their UBER COOL DS3 interiors.

Perhaps coloured tyres will also come in, I've seen a few on show cars. I think white tyres may look quite good - just to be different.

I dont know about that. The french have tried to set some trends with their quirkey designs in the past but theyve never realy cought on.
BUt dont get me rong thyy make some stylish cars.

I agree with led lights they look good and are practicle.
Do you think where gona see more retro designs brought back like the VW beetle and the fiat500.
How about a new subaru 360 or a modern take on the mk1 escort.

A mk1 escort would be Cool. Honda are doing the CRZ - a nod to the CRX and this is probably the way it will happen.

Apart from what waynne has said, I think there will be more hybrid and electric cars with longer range on the roads

Very possibly, although this thread is about styling. I'm not going to comment further, I'm one of the most notorious hijackers in this place.

I can envisage medium range electric-only cars coming to the fore. Question is, what will they look like?

But Gumdrop looked like this...

S'not very futuristic if you ask me! :toung::lol:

i do think we will get more vinyl/spray art on cars:sad2: (while i appreciate the time and effort that has gone in toi these things i just dont like them on cars!!!!!!)
we will get more leery coloured wheels this has been happening for the last 2+ years cause of imho the 80's inspired fashion

We'll all have to do something to make our cars vaguely interesting if the current trend for outrageous fuel duty continues.

If I'm forced to drive some 2.5 bhp eco-car then I'm gonna make bloody certain that it attracts and repels attention for all the wrong reasons.

some interesting ideas there but i was aiming more at what you think the next big thing in modifying will be.

i like some of the airbrush art but cant see it taking off in a huge way which is a shame really.

what do you guys think

Body kits are still going strong round here. I see more than 2 cars a day wearing admittedly a stupid kit but like I say they are still going strong.

lol must be different across the UK, there seems to be a thing over here at the moment that if you have a bodykit you are a chav,

so basically what this means is that the chavs are ashamed of being a chav, which is nice :)
