Yep. Detail my car's twice a year, spring and autumn. Takes me about 2 days but in between its just rinse off the surface film that accumulates. I use AutoGlym High Definition products.
Went to a presentation with Porsche Club few years ago at a Zymol specialist retailer where they take your car for a week to detail. The wax was kept in a locked cabinet as it was £32000 a pot. You did get free lifetime refills though. The team went all over the world detailing multi million pound car's for prestigious car shows. For me it didn't seem fair someone got a professional team in to wash their rare Bugatti or Ferrari so you could win shows like Pebble Beach etc takes the fun out of displaying if you've not put in the effort.

That must be the most expensive wax in the world!

Think so. 100% carnuba wax unlike most waxes that have a lot of chalk in it. Apparently the Dorset branch of Ferrari club have bought a £5000 pot of the stuff and owners can 'hire' it to detail there car's.
Owners displaying at concourse events like Pebble Beach pay thousands and thousands of Dollers to fly this team of detailers out and put them up in the best hotels so they can prepare their cars weeks before the big show.
Different world ain't it
