Not even fitted my car with the winter boots yet, and I thought, sod it, might be a bad winter, so I just picked up a series 2a tax exempt 89wb with a 2&1/4 original diesel unit, and transmission with an overdrive, military front bumpers and a mechanical winch. I thought it was cheap enough for a runner at 1500? Been stood for quite some time though
Any pointers? Last landy was in 1993 and it was a 109 with a straight 6 2600 petrol.
Same performance as a Citroën 2cv, and couldn't pass a garage! Looks like I will be running the old veggie oil again... Mmm, chip shop exhaust smell

If it's been stood for a while, slowly increase the revs and engine load over the weeks you use it.

They are solid enough and very easy to work on. It should do you proud and I'm sure you won't be parking over 2 bays in the car parks to protect your doors.

Ha ha ha. It's also EMP proof just in case we go to war with Russia.
I'm a closet prepper (ex forces) so the paranoia runs deep. And they will just about run on anything, including thinned waste engine oil!!
