Suzuki X90 1.6 Turbo Project

Hello I am currently rounding up parts to add a turbo to our 96 Suzuki X90. I know pretty much nothing about turbos so will need a lot of help. I have a line on a turbo and intercooler for a Volvo that I believe is from a 2.3 liter. The guy is a shop teacher so I am hoping if all goes well I can document the project to show his students. The engine is FI 1.6. Jim

Hey there im doing the same sort of thing as you but im using my 2.0 litre tiburon, The thing i have found with this turbo story is to know what you want before you do it...i.e power, boost, sound, look, makes and reliability. yes sounds strait forward but dont mess around as you go! BIG PROBLEM!

I am after a little more power. The X is used mostly on the street and occasionally on some offroad trails. The street performance is where it suffers especially on acceleration. I am a little worried the turbo may be too big. Most of the Zuke guys use the Saab. Jim
