suspension upgrade

hi i just bought a polo 2017 1.0 match edition and the suspension is a bit pathetic tbh, what would u guys recommend on a budget that could drop my ride height without (at least) making the ride even more uncomfortable haha. thanks
p.s the suspension currently feels very weak, i have to go over speed bumps very very slowly etc

A decent set of adjustable coilovers should work well, bilsteins are my top tip but they can be pricey. Don't drop more than 4 cm, it's really affect the handling and practicalities. Lower and Stiffer suspension is not always better for handling on our roads.

Tyre choices and wheel rim size makes quite a difference, if you are running on 18's or even 17's you will find the ride quite crasy.
