Suspension tuning (pls help!)

Hi guys, this is my first posting :embarrest:

Everytime i attack a corner, the car seem to bounce/wobble
feel like left side up, right down and vice versa in a very fast rate
only happen near its limit which the car start to understeer

the ride is already quite firm so i suspect it is the damper bound and rebound that need tuning or its the spring that need to be harden?

oh, should the rebound be higher than bound?

im all out for time attack, laps time.


Car is a 07SLK280 with kw-V3 coilovers
weight: 1420KG-est 52%F 48%R
Front engine-rearwheeldrive

hi mate. how about putting in the rear more hard suspension, while in the fron having like a softer suspension for an 3-5 cm? because it is rear wheel drive, try this, i am sure it'll show some good effects.

so the front must be softer than the rear...
i heard this will have more oversteer but it ok since mercedes like to make their car understeer.

ok try it, and then check it out how it goes, if it wont go well, try it more soften front suspensions.

It would also pay to invest in some poly bushes, these will tighten up the handling a lot. Tyres also have a lot to do with the handling, get some soft rubber like Goodyear eagle F1 and enjoy the extra grip.

oh yes, im still using the rubber ones,

im going to change to the poly ones when the coilover is tuning.
