Supercharger or Turbocharger on my Subaru Forester?

Hi, looking for some insight and suggestions on the pros and cons for both the supercharger and turbocharger in terms of which would suit my vehicle best. I have a 2010 Subaru Forester X Premium with an automatic transmission which I may convert to a manual later down the road. I am leaning towards a supercharger, but let me hear your ideas! Thanks

Turbo would be easier as Foresters models with turbos already exist. So you can source parts from a turbo model and they should be a much easier fit.

That said, it may be cheaper to source a turbo model in the whole and just buy that. How attached are you to your car?

I am still paying it off and I don't make enough to buy another. As much as I would like to buy another one!

Adding a turbo is not a straightforward process, even with parts taken from another Forester; it will cost a lot.
And afterwards your 20/27mpg that your model boasts will drop. You maintenance costs will rise, as will your insurance.

Are you prepared for that?
