Stick on dash board kits

What do you guys n girls think of those stick on dash board kits?

Would you go for wood or carbon fibre? Or do you just think it is really naff?

Im not talking about the film but the proper adhesive plastic ones.:blink:

ive got the wood (think its walnut) as standard in the bora, to begin with i was going to get rid of it and replace it with the aluminium R32 kit. although its growing on me i think i would still change it, if i could find a kit cheap enough

I've got the walnut stuff as standard in the Pug. I have a suspicion that it's actaully acrylic but it looks OK.

i personally don't like em. had one in my z when i first got it. not sure if it was from bad install or just overall material quality, but the thing looked terrible. Worst of all, the idiot that installed it ruined that actual dash underneath. Cost me almot $400 to get it replaced.

ive got wood in mine and i hate it, makes it look like a real grandad car, might get some aluminium or even carbon fibre but get it all done porperly id just make a mess not good with styling on my part

Its actually real wood in the Rovers. I peeled one off and got a suprise as it broke revealing splinters of wood.

The engines are about as robust as that, too.

But wood is a great light weight material. I had a nice 4 branch manifold on my Rover!

I don't like stick on kits. I think it looks a bit cheap. Although saying that, most interiors look a bit cheap anyway.
