spark plug change trouble

Morning all,

I have been trying to change my spark plugs on my 2003 audi a4 today. I gt the first one done ok then the useless wrench I bought from halfords snapped as the plug was in real tight.

Is there any harm/point in spraying the plug with some wd40 to losen it up?

Please advise

really shouldnt have had to unless they have previously been put in alot harder than they should have been.
you can try but make sure its off before you start up
