Some diesels will be collectors items soon

    With all the scrappage schemes and diesel haters out there many diesels are going to be scrapped and taken off the roads.

    There are a few that should remain collectible like the BMW 335d and Jaguar XF which are stunning cars and will no doubt increase in value at some point in the future.

    Do you think that some diesels will become highly sought after and which models would you predict are worthy of the honor?

    Ha ha @Skinnybin - for high mileage drivers they still work out pretty cost effective to run, even up against many modern petrol engines.

    I had to part with it, handling was amazing, the way it pulled around corners! I've been missing out.
    I gone to a 1.6 focus now with the yam engine, I've had the puma twice lol.
